This is an attempt to realize why we are what we are, and how much we owe to our father Alexander Wladigeroff, a great musician who gave us the ”Favourable Song“ of the ”Jolly Town Musicians“.

”Retrospective“ is a beautiful Bulgarian folklore melody with a finely accentuated lyrico-melodious character which is typical for Konstantin. It follows the style of slow songs from the Macedonian region in 7/8 measure. We highly appreciate the chance to work with Dimitar Karamitev, an expert on Bulgarian folklore, combining the exotic sound of the Bulgarian instrument kaval (a wooden flute) with flugelhorn, Fender Rhodes and voices. We are deeply grateful to our sister Ekaterina who helped us professionally to achieve a more interesting, modern sound! A recording from the Wladigeroff family’s archives from 1988 made with the journalist Maria Puhleva.
